A few months ago I reviewed the ERA 3, an amazing audio plugin bundle from Accusonus.
Today, they have released an update to the bundle called ERA 4, that brings bug fixes, tweaks and additional plugins.
Before we jump into this review, Accusonus kindly sent me over these plugins for review, but this in no way has affected my opinions on this software.
You can also find a referral link here that gives me a small kickback for any purchases you make.
The Accusonus ERA Pro Bundle consists of 7 audio plugins;
* A De-Clipper
* A Noise Remover
* Reverb Remover
* Plosive Remover
* And Voice Leveller
The plugins work on both Mac OS & Windows with support for a wide variety of DAWs and NLEs such as;
* Davinci Resolve
* Premiere Pro
* Final Cut Pro
* Adobe Audition
* And many more
I have been using the Accusonus ERA plugins for a while and this new bundle brings some great changes.
This review is going to focus mainly on the changes, so if you want to see my thoughts on the previous version, as well as a more in-depth look at the features, check out my previous review.
Each of these plugins is very easy to use. You simply drag it onto your audio clip, track or sub mix to apply the effect.
This update brings a refreshed UI, that while similar to the previous version, is a lot cleaner and packs more features.
Something I love about these plugins is that they are very plug and play. Once you have added the plugin, you typically do not have to do much, with the occasional tweaking on the dial to control the intensity.
The noise remover now has a tonal & buzz button that focuses the noise removal on those static sounds, resulting in a cleaner output.
The new De-Clipper plugin makes it simple to repair clipped audio, and while something like this will never be perfect, it does a great job of salvaging your audio. It has two different options that makes it easier to find the solution, but I would, always recommend getting your levels correct in production.
The Voice Leveller, my favourite of the plugins, has been updated with a new emphasis button, that adds more punch to the voice, as well as a breath control feature, which levels out any breathing.
The rest of the plugins remain largely the same, with some additional tweaks and improvements to the overall performance.
Accusonus has improved what was already some truly amazing plugins that are a daily part of my post-production workflow.
I highly recommend them to anyone who spends a lot of time in post-production as these can dramatically improve your audio workflow.
Also, between now and the 31st July, the ERA 4 Bundle has a discounted price, so if this is something you’re considering buying, then please do so here.
